Our Sustainability Vision

As Biotrend, we align our sustainability strategy with our company strategy, basing it on the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Paris Agreement, and the European Green Deal, which are important drivers of economic and social transformation globally. Within this framework, we prioritize alignment with global 2030 and 2050 targets that are compatible with green, circular, and digital transformation requirements. Under five main headings, we aim to be a leading company in the transition to a low-carbon economy at local and global scales by supporting sustainable development.

We believe that ensuring sustainable and balanced growth of the global economy is the primary duty of all companies, regardless of their sector. To achieve this growth, we continue to work with all our strength to comply with certain principles on necessary environmental and social issues, to invest in human rights, and thus to reach the UN's "Sustainable Development Goals".

Acting with this purpose, as Biotrend Energy, we have signed the UN Global Compact, which has more than 14,000 companies and over 4,000 non-corporate institutions as members in more than 160 countries worldwide. With this signature, while the corporate sensitivity on human rights, working conditions, environmental and social issues is once again underlined through official institutions, we have added another achievement to our advances in the field of energy.
